5 FAN-FUCK-TASTIC-UBER-LICIOUS stars“A sweat-licking, ass-biting freak—that's what you are.”**WARNING this review may contain spoilers**
This is the continued story of Jack and Laurelyn. It picks up right where Beauty From Pain leaves off. I read the first book several months ago and I was left heartbroken with that horrible, awful--cliffhanger....Now, the story starts out with Laurelyn and Jack still seperated. Jack doesn't know Laurelyn's last name and he's hired a private investigator to find his missing love...(his PI sucks by the way) Fast forward 3...yes 3 LONG months later and they FINALLY freaking unite and what a reunion it is!!! HOLY HOTNESS....off the god damn charts...AWESOME, SEXY, MIND-BLOWING...you get my point?? The sexual chemistry between these two is AH-MA-ZING!!! I love how they "LOVE" each other and can't live without the other. I don't want to give anything away or spoil it for you, so I recommend this book series to everyone....I'm on cloud nine and i just have to say..BUY IT, READ IT, YOU will LOVE Jack and Laurelyn and there is a HEA! * happy sigh*“...I love you infinitely.”
“I want to be your song, Laurelyn." I move up her leg and kiss the inside of her thigh. "Always.”
“This is where I want to be forever—in Jack Henry's arms."My Jack
“It was a mistake to not tell you how I felt. It's haunted me since the day I came home and found you gone. You'll never know how sorry I am for letting you slip through my fingers. But it won't happen again because I'm never letting you go. Ever”
A hundred days have made me older
Since the last time that I saw your pretty face
A thousand lies have made me colder
And I don't think I can look at this the same
But all the miles that separate
Disappear now when I'm dreaming of your face
I'm here without you baby
But you're still on my lonely mind
I think about you baby
And I dream about you all the time
I'm here without you baby
But you're still with me in my dreams
And tonight it's only you and meMore Jack Henry because I LOVE his HOT-SMOKING--ASS and his DIRTY MOUTH...
YUM-OLA
“Laurelyn is the medicine that heals all my pain”
“Every song I write from here on out will be about Jack Henry. That's how our tale will go on and on forever—through my music. He will always be every song I sing”My Laurelyn (I know Laurelyn has brown hair/eyes, but Taylor was my Laurelyn...)
“I love you and I want you to be my wife”
“You made me fall hard. I've never loved a woman until you.”Ever wonder about what he's doing
How it all turned to lies
Sometimes I think that it's better
to never ask why
Where there is desire
There is gonna be a flame
There there is a flame
Someone's bound to get burned
But just because it burns
Doesn't mean you're gonna die
You gotta get up and try and try and try
You gotta get up and try and try and try
You gotta get up and try and try and try
“You're everything I never knew I wanted. Every time I picture my future, it's always your face I see…with some little people who look like us.”Sing to me a prayer of hope and strength.
I will sing to you,
As if my chest is glass.
As we build, please give us solid ground.
When the rain becomes a flood,
I believe that we will find
Tree branches to climb.
Far, far, far from here.
Sing to me a prayer of hope and strength.
I will sing to you
As if my chest is glass.
When the weather settles down,
We will search through this mess,
Where I believe that we will find,
Through things left behind,
The place where we began.
Sing to me, please sing to me
Always through these times,
And we'll begin again.
